While this was not my first time dining at Sullivan's, this was an entirely new experience! Seated with three of my friends, we came to enjoy their vodka inspired dinner and boy was it a treat! Stephen was the great MC, very knowledgeable and so hospitable. The staff were gracious and friendly, and the food was absolutely delightful. Jamie was our server and he was fantastic! We truly enjoyed the drink pairings. I will have to return to Sullivan's soon!

This place exudes an old-school charm. It boasts an excellent selection of wine and whiskey. While it is on the pricier side, the service is outstanding, and the food is both good and cleverly prepared.

I came close to giving it five stars, but a couple of things forced my hand to give a 4+ review. I had not been there in over 9 years (had moved overseas) and has not changed much, and that is a good thing. It's still an old school steakhouse with excellent and friendly service. What also impressed me this time is that the prices have not increased as much as other restaurants and steakhouses. You do not go there to save money but the steaks are fairly priced given the quality and size and the wine lists as a lot of fantastic options at all price points. I was surprised at how many great reasonable choices there were on the wine list. I also enjoyed my meal thoroughly but it wasn't perfect (hence the four stars). Started with oysters. While the oysters were excellent, as was the cocktail sauce, most had a little grit in them that took away from the experience. My tomahawk was also a beautiful piece of meat but it was slightly undercooked (I've been to hundreds of steakhouses so I think I know my medium rare), while I have no trouble with rare made it more difficult to cut. Not a deal breaker but IMHO a steakhouse's first priority is getting the temperature right. I thought the Brussels Sprouts were fantastic and would recommend them. We also shared the bananas foster crumble, and that was very nice. Despite the couple of bumps, I definitely recommend and would go again.
